Pacific Rim Innovation Conference

 

 

The Pacific Rim Innovation Conference 2010 will be held at the University of Melbourne, Australia on Thursday 21 & Friday 22 January 2010.

This inaugural conference will bring together scholars working on the economics, management and law of innovation. It will foster an inter-disciplinary exchange of knowledge. Sessions will include contributed papers, panel discussions and keynote presentations.

The event is being organised by the Intellectual Property Research Institute of Australia (IPRIA) at the University of Melbourne, with support from the Institute of Innovation Research, (Hitotsubashi University), the NUS Business School (National University of Singapore)and the University of Auckland Business School.

Keynote speakers will include Professors Rochelle Dreyfuss (New York University), Ivan Png (NUS School of Business), Peter Drahos (Australian National University), and Vincenzo Denicolo (Universita di Bologna)with further speakers to be confirmed.

Submissions will close on Wednesday 30 September 2009. We invite you to submit an abstract (max 300 words) by email to info@ipria.org. Proposals will be refereed by the Scientific Committee, and applicants should receive a response by Tuesday 20 October 2009.

Registration for the conference will open on this website on Tuesday 20 October 2009. The conference fee covering conference registration, lunches and the conference dinner will be AUD390/person.
